Since 2006, Kausthub Desikachar has served as the chief executive officer of the Krishnamacharya Healing & Yoga Foundation (KHYF) in Chennai, India, which encompasses a network of yoga professionals. Under the leadership of Kausthub Desikachar, KHYF administers Viniyoga Teacher Training programs.
Offered in multiple locations worldwide, the Viniyoga Teacher Training programs provide an opportunity for students to learn about the core concepts of the classical Viniyoga tradition of TKV Desikachar and Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. The programs target people with an interest in teaching yoga to groups and individuals in order to improve their health and well-being. Students who graduate from the program will earn certification to teach yoga outside of the therapeutic setting.
Through the training program, students will obtain instruction in how to achieve personal and spiritual growth. Providing comprehensive training on various topics related to yoga, the course aims to foster a philosophical understanding of the teachings and principles of yoga.
